Toddler Clothes Sizing Should Be Genderless

Why do the clothes fit differently, even in the same size? Once you reach a certain size in many brands, clothing intended for boys and the same clothing intended for girls are wildly different sizes. The differences in cut  — boxier for boys, narrower and more revealing for girls — have nothing to do with differences in children’s frames.

According to the U.S. size charts, 2T should mean the same thing regardless of which gender we’re talking about, both in pounds and height. That’s because children’s bodies are the same, size-wise. They’re growing and developing in the same way until they reach around six years old. With this in mind, we will be launching with sizes 2T through 6T.
